If you read Raising Arrows regularly, you know how important DrinkBands are in our house. In fact, just the other day, I mentioned them in my post on having a Minimalist Kitchen.
DrinkBands make having a minimalist kitchen with a large family possible because it saves me on washing glasses constantly. Everyone leaves their glasses on the counter for the day, and we wash them at night. Everyone has a color, so they aren’t dragging 50 glasses out of the cupboard over the course of the day and I know exactly who has misplaced theirs.
When company comes, we add an extra set of DrinkBands (often the Camo Pack or Party Pack). Our family’s set of DrinkBands are now personalized too! It makes me smile to have mine say “Mama” and Ty’s say “Daddy”. 🙂
Do you have guests coming for Thanksgiving? What about Christmas? Well, now is the perfect time to snag a great deal on DrinkBands and be prepared for the holidays!
And guess what?! Two Raising Arrows readers are going to win DrinkBands! I’m giving away a set of 9 Regular Personalized DrinkBands and a set of Camo DrinkBands!
All you have to do is enter the giveaway below. (email readers click through to the post to find the giveaway!) Winners will be announced on Saturday, so hurry!

We could really use a set of these!! Hope I win! 🙂 Thanks for the chance.

Great idea! I’ve noticed that especially as my children get older there seem to be more and more glasses used throughout the day. This will definitely ease the burden of our overworked dishwasher during the holidays, and it will help lessen clutter on counters!
Suanna says
A definite decrease in the number of cups out of the cupboard would be a plus.

My kids go through so many cups a day! We have tried having the kids leave their cups on their own coaster but that didn’t work either. I only just read about drink bands, they would be a huge help!
Bethany says
These sound great. My 4 kids use way too many cups each day cuz they forget whose is whose and heaven forbid they use a rinsed out cup someone else might have touched. 🙂 No germ sharing in this house. Lol. By the way Amy, I just want to say what a ministry your blog has been to me. I’m a new reader and God somehow helped me find your site with all the articles for grieving moms and trusting Him with your family as Im going through my second miscarriage right now. So God bless you. 🙂
Amy says
Thank you, Bethany! To God be the GLORY!
Elizabeth S says
We have 20+ coming for Christmas. I am constantly running out of glasses.
Sarah O. says
Drink bands would make visits from family easier. We live in a different state than all of our relatives, so when they come to visit, they come to stay for a few days. We go through so many cups!
Belinda says
I thoroughly enjoy your blog – even though my children are grown. I often pass along to them though. I love “a gentle voice, a firm resolve, an abundant life” – awesome purpose statement!

We use colored water bottles for the family, but it will be helpful to have options that look a little nicer on the table.
Tiffani Walker says
Very cool and unique idea!

Ok, so I totally messed up. I put in the wrong Facebook email. It should have been javagonzo@sbcglobal.net. Sorry!

WiffytoJ says
They sure are! I just put the glass with band on right in the dishwasher. 🙂
Kristin Salvevold says
This is a great idea! We have seven children, so there are nine of us in this house! Everybody has a “family color” already – we homeschool and all of their supplies are in their color, and often, so are many of their clothes! These drink bands would be a great help in our situation.
Thanks for all of your great posts!

Robin says
We have 7 of us ! We have toooo many glasses out Every.day. These will help have more free counter space and save water from not having sooo many glasses to wash. I’ve never tried the drinkbands, but we do a lot of color coding in our house. These might be fun.
Janey L. says
This would help control the many cups that cycle thru my dishwasher. The children never seem to remember where their cup is located!
Rachel says
We only have enough non-matching glasses for everyone, so it would be great to mark the matching glasses separately for each person.
Michelle says
Oh! I’ve been wanting some of these for quite awhile!
Michelle says
Thank you for the giveaway! I’ve thought about these so many times from your recommendation. I have nine children myself, and I can see how they would help cut down on the constantly growing army of dirty cups. 🙂
Genna says
I would love a set of these. Our family is expanding to 5 children soon! My husband loves the idea of everyone having their special band, so we can remember who has what cup. Thanks!
Sherry says
With a new baby right around the corner, anything that helps simplify dishes or “who is the responsible party” issues is a God-send! This will be number 8, so we have a bunch of glasses to wrangle as well…thanks for the opportunity to win the drink bands!

I look forward to giving these as a gift for my sister-in-law who has four kids and many cups!

With 6 kids (and one on the way!) plus holiday company (3 more adults!) we can generate a full dishwasher very quickly! Being green with morning sickness, every less glass that needs to be tended too would be a blessing, especially this season!
Misty says
great idea!
S.T. says
Drinkbands would make my holidays easier, esp. regarding my oldest son and husband. They are the ones that don’t really have a “specific” glass or cup. My son uses stickers to mark his glass, but they have to be removed before putting in the dishwasher and sometimes they don’t get removed and come off in the dishwasher. Picked one up off the bottom of the dishwasher this morning! 🙂
Julie M. says
I have to say this would be a life saver in our house – literally. My youngest daughter has life threatening food allergies to dairy, egg and nuts. While we are very careful and everyone knows the rule (only her cup sits on the right of the fridge) there is always a question of “are you sure that’s your cup?”. This would help ease that just a bit. Thanks for all your wonderful post & good luck with the move & your new bundle of joy!! 🙂

We’ve got four children and we’ll be with three cousins at Christmas. Needless to say, lots of cups in use. Last year we picked up some dollar store hair bands. We made due, but they definitely didn’t work as well as these would.

jen mc says
My kids would gave too much fun using their own colors and glasses!
Cynthia says
Oh man! We have 7 people in our home, including my mother (with a heart condition). Due to health concerns, we are extra vigilant about not swapping glasses. Every time we confuse glasses, I mutter, “We’ve GOT to get us some Drinkbands!”.
Theresa-Lynne Cain says
I enjoy reading your posts and following you on Facebook. I’m forever losing cups, or the kids are sharing each other’s cups leading to arguments. These bands are a neat idea.
