I have 10.5 year old and 9-year-old daughters who I believe are old enough to be doing their own laundry. My concern with implementing this system is that my older daughter will end up doing all the work, as has happened with other jobs in the past. Any suggestions on that? Also, any suggestions on how to encourage my almost 7-year-old to keep his clean clothes tidy? It seems his clean clothes end up on the floor as often as not. 🙁

My boys are TERRIBLE at taking care of their clothes, so sadly, I have no great advice there. To even out the workload for your girls make sure they have their own day and consider only having them fold and put away and you be the one to keep the actual laundry going. I wouldn’t have them do the laundry together on the same day.
