This year, vacation led us all over the state of Colorado. We started at a family reunion (on my husband’s side) in the western part of the state. While there we hiked all over the place (yes, even me with my huge pregnant belly!)
Then, on to Breckenridge for the Savvy Blogging Summit!
The Summit was beyond my wildest expectations! I learned so much while there. I’d love to offer a recap of everything, but there really is so much I haven’t even begun to wrap my brain around!
After the Summit, we headed to the cabin we usually go to. As always, the get away from cell phones and internet was welcome…especially for my husband who grows quite weary over the course of the year.
Our adventures at the cabin this year included geode hunting, fossil finding, fishing, and the ever-popular ground squirrel feeding…
This was the longest vacation we have ever been on. Most of us were ready to be home.
My bed has never felt so comfy.
My house has never looked so foreign.
Monday was spent readjusting. No school. No schedules. Just mounds of mail and laundry and life to sort through. Here at the end of vacation, I can truly say it was good to get away, but it was also good to get back home.

We’re glad you’re home, too. Megs pigs, I KNOW are glad you’re home. I look forward to hearing all about it.

Glad your back and had a good trip. Isn’t Colorado great? We are new to it and just really coming to appreciate it all.

Glad you had a great get away. We all need that from time to time.
Isn’t if funny how we all want to get away, yet we are always glad to get back home into our own beds and inviroment.
