Hey Amy, thank you so much for starting to do podcasts. I have been able to listen to them when I clean. I am finding them very helpfu, I feel like we are moving to the large family stage. This upcoming school year I will have a 2nd grader, 1st grader, 4 year old, almost two year old and a baby due in October . I have been toying with the idea of moving to year round schooling. My husbands day off is mondays, so I was thinking schooling Tuesday- Friday and using Saturday as home blessing day (although o really struggle cleaning the upstairs with little ones). I loved your chore podcast and mealtime podcast as well. I found we do most of the things gor the chores. Last thought , I still do almost everything. My kid fold towels, clear their plates, and care for our guinea pig. What would you suggest as far as having the older two start to do that could actually be helpful. Lastly o would love a
Podcast on toy managment and clean up.

Hey Amy! I did enjoy having a podcast today! Haha! I can’t say that one earlier in the week is easier or not. I listen to a lot of podcasts & find them to be like the audio Netflix. I have several I’m behind on because they are too long & others like yours, are a great length that I can typically get it all in in one sitting. And I try to listen to them as soon as I can! I did say sitting not not uninterrupted. ? I was curious if you were familiar with The Relaxed Homeschool by Mary Hood. So many things you mentioned today reminded me of that book, which I should probably read annually! One of the most convicting was the idea of not losing yourself. So many times I think my BC self is quite the mystery to my children. I really struggle finding time for things I enjoy. Jesse Wise said to live your life in chapters & it’s ok if you can’t do some things in a particular chapter. I really like that! I’m definitely sharng this podcast with a few young moms who HS. I never knew you could just do 4 days a week when I first started. What an eye opener that would have been!
Have a great week! God Bless!

Hi Jennifer! I have never read that book by Mary Hood, but I think I probably should! I love the idea of living your life in chapters too! And even if you aren’t able to do all of the things you enjoy in this chapter, you can still infuse who you are into your homeschool on a smaller scale.
