We all like to talk curriculum, but what about all the supplies that go into making up a proper homeschool? There are pencils and paper and art supplies and maps and the list goes on and on and on! Over the years I’ve purchased my fair share of homeschooling supplies, and this list is my guide to helping you find the best deals on homeschool supplies for your family!

Let’s start with two of my favorite companies to buy supplies from. I will mention these stores over and over again because they always have exactly what I need!

Pencils
From fat pencils to pencils your child can safely chew on to mechanical pencils, Discount School Supply has a GREAT selection! Here are some of our favorites! Click on each one to learn more:

Paper
Again, Discount School Supply is who I go to for paper. We love their construction paper and story paper. Here are examples of the kinds of paper we have ordered from DSS over the years. Click on each one to learn more:

Notebooks
We often buy our notebooks at WalMart, but with Amazon Prime, I can get notebooks from Amazon in 2 days with free shipping, saving me the hassle of going to town.
Art Supplies
Years ago, I invested in bulk art supplies from Discount School Supply, and I still have some of those supplies and they are going strong! These are great products that are long-lasting and keep your children creating for hours on end! Click on each one to learn more:

Maps
I recently wrote a post on making geography an easy part of your homeschool You can read that post HERE, and watch the video HERE. I get our blank maps from a free online source – MegaMaps – and I purchase our other maps and globes from Amazon, as seen below.
Scissors & Glue
I love the selection of scissors and glue from Discount School Supply! Even the teacher’s scissors (see below) are awesome! Click on the images to learn more!

Dry Erase Boards
We love dry erase boards in our homeschool! No waste of paper, keeps little ones entertained, great for mom too! Here are some of my favorites:

Laminator & Comb Binder
I have been known to say I will laminate anything that sits still long enough for me to catch it! I love how laminating helps protect everything from homeschool schedules to special papers to printables! And while I have not yet tried my hand at comb binding ebooks, I know many homeschool mamas who use this very machine to do so. You can comb bind ebooks, McGuffey readers you get free online, and even your own household charts to keep them neat an handy!
