I did it! I started a podcast! I had never considered doing this before, but God laid this on my heart strongly, and here I am! Eek!
I realize not everyone can listen to podcasts, but a growing number of moms find themselves needing encouragement in their ears while they clean, while they sit waiting on kids at ball practice, or as they are starting or ending their day. Podcasts fill that need. It’s also an easier venture for me as a mom of many because I can record at night after the children are in bed!
It my deepest desire that the Raising Arrows Podcast connects me to not only my long-time readers, but to other moms who don’t feel they have the time to read blogs, but sure could use a friend in the trenches.
This first podcast deals with Creating a Simple Schedule or “Mom Schedule.”

In this episode, I share:
- The key to sticking to a schedule.
- How to set up a simple schedule you can follow.
- How to create more margin in your day.
- How to get in the “extras” you always want to get in, but don’t seem to have the time for.

Yaaaaaayyyyy!!!! I’m so glad to see that you’ve started a podcast. I have been following your website for quite some time now, and you are always such an encouragement to me in my homeschool and mothering journey. When I am washing dishes or doing laundry, I usually have a podcast going to help me get thru my work. It’s almost like a ‘mommy refresher’ time for me. It’s great to know that now I can add Raising Arrows to my list of “Laundry Companions”! Thank you so much for all that you do. God bless you!!!
Amy says
Awww! You are so sweet! I’ll gladly do laundry with you!

Oh, I loved this podcast! I am so excited for you to do this! This came just in time for me. I have been overscheduling and struggling with schedules vs routines and had just about enough. So listening to your podcast as a large family mama myself…this really helped!thank you and i cant wait for the next one! How often will you be doing these?
Amy says
Once a week, releasing on Saturday – at least that’s the plan right now. I’m so excited though, I want to publish a whole bunch at a time! LOL

I am so happy that I got to meet you at the TTD conference a couple weeks ago, and I am even happier that you are starting a podcast so that I can hear from you even more often – yay!! Thanks for everything you do, you are a huge encouragement!

I’m so thrilled that you have started a pod cast! I just had my 4th baby a week ago and find myself nursing at night and running out of podcasts to keep me awake while I nurse. Thank you so much!

Thank you so much for this! One thing I’ve been struggling with is that I’m in my first trimester with baby #4, and between nausea and fatigue I’m feeling pretty useless around the house, like things have really fallen apart since I’ve been pregnant. I can’t cook and the kids have had a definite lack of structure and too much screen time. I’m hoping that I will feel better soon and things will get back on track but I know you have experience with this! How did you do it? Any advice and prayers are appreciated as I’m feeling quite discouraged.

I’m so glad and excited that you started a podcast! I love reading your blog and other large family mommy blogs for inspiration and encouragement, but I rarely have time. Now I can multitask and listen while I do things! Thank you for the time and effort you put into your blog. It’s such a blessing to share in what you have learned/ are learning!

This is IT! I only have three kids, aged 7, 4 and 2. I homeschool. I always wanted to have a schedule and just didn’t stumble upon good advice. You truly are an inspiration. I wish i could express better what you mean to me. Maybe another time. God bless and keep you, dearest Amy! A mom from Romania.
