This week I want to share some links from last week that give a dose of real life.
First, from Amy at Plain and Not So Plain, a post full of Large Family Organization Tips (not just for large families, mind you!)
{and yes, this is a series!}
Next is a post from The Healthy and Fit Homeschool Mom on How Our Children Need to See Us. It isn’t always pretty, but should always be real.
And let’s get really real with The Best Birthing Method. Yep, that’s what Paula at Beauty Through Imperfection is talking about. Definitely worth the read.
And the highest number of clicks from last week belongs to Lori from Hungry for God…Starving for Time and her post on ex-Victoria Secret Model, Kylie Bisutti.
Now it’s your turn! Time to link up your posts (limit it to 3 please!) and read other wonderful posts! {If you are reading via email, click here.}

I went to the post about Kylie Bisutti’s story and admit it’s very compelling. Sadly, when I visited her website, the images there were disappointing. The image of Kylie on her web page is a pouty, sultry look and the skinny jeans she markets seem to promote immodesty (particularly in the placement of some of the graphics). I think God has done a mighty work–I don’t deny that, but the shades of immodesty and focus on skin tight clothing definitely casts a shadow on her story.

Jill, I became a Christian when I was 19, after spending my teenage years living a very immodest life. God has been doing amazing things in my life ever since! Some changes were immediate, and some we are still working on together, even 14 years later. After a life time of living that way, some things are hard to change. If a person is use to posing for pictures with a “sultry look” or wearing skinny jeans, it might take awhile for those things to change. If she doesn’t have godly influences in her life to help guide her, she may not even realize that those are things she should change. There may also be other areas of her life that God is working on right now that are maybe more important at this stage in her life. Please don’t allow the little bit you can see to “cast a shadow on her story”. Who knows what God is doing that we can’t see? 🙂
