This week I’ve been thinking a lot about how I can encourage others daily. Friends, family, my husband and children, and of course, all of you. As I’ve pondered what encouragement looks like, I decided I’d post some links from last week that were encouraging.
First up, a post entitled Disease of Perfection from Brittany at Sweet Country Roots. While I hope I do not come across as having everything perfect, I know as a blogger, you only see a fraction of my life. I will be the first to tell you things go wrong every single day, and I am far from perfect. Praise the Lord!
Next, a wonderful post from Jacinda at Growing Home on The Idols of a Homeschool Mother’s Heart.
I’ve been guilty of the things she describes in this post. I think humans are always looking for a formula or method. Sometimes homeschooling becomes that method, and we think if we do it just right we’ll raise perfect kids. (See post #1.)
And finally, Melanie from Essential Thing Devotions asks, “Do You Complain?” She goes on to offer encouragement to help moms have a joyful attitude. This is something every mom could use!
And last week’s most clicked post was Blessed with Another Child from Cheryl at Treasures From a Shoebox. Get the tissues. This post will bring you to tears. Absolutely beautiful!
Now for this week’s link up! Won’t you join me? And even if you don’t have a blog, enjoy the links below and find some encouragement for your week! {click here if you are reading via email}
