Our family went a’visiting this past weekend. We spent time with some dear friends. While there, us wives did a lot of discussing over home decor, schedules, school, and a million other things. I walked away refreshed!
Since then, I’ve been pouring over some of the magazines she loaned me, and pinning things to my Pinterest board: Home Decorating Tips & Inspiration.
So, today I’m featuring some great links from last week that fit nicely with the theme of home decorating.
First up, is a lovely idea from Practical Stewardship: A Burlap & Linen Party!
This would be a great way to take hospitality to a new level, but it also gave me some ideas for my own home and the tea parties we have recently started having.
Next, a post to consider as you spend money on decorating your home. Sarah, from Hope In Every Season shares about her annoying habit of spending money she did not make. This post is fantastic food for thought!
Lastly, a post from Bite Size Bible Study on Clutter because when all the decorating is done, you still have to be certain of where you heart is.

I also want to let all of the new Raising Arrows readers know about the Letting Go of What You Own eBooklet available for Likers Only on my Facebook page. Click the Only Likers Tab there (it has a thumbs up sign) and download your copy. It is meant to help you declutter with Christ in mind.
Also, don’t miss the top clicked link from last week! It belongs to Kristina of Raising Littles – My Journey and her post Saying Goodbye to Facebook. This post got clicked A LOT! Hmmm….makes me wonder what might be stirring in the hearts of others concerning this topic.
Now, it’s your turn to link up! You can link up to 3 posts that encourage other homemakers. (If you are reading via email CLICK HERE to view links and link up your blog posts.)

Thanks for hosting again this week, Amy. 🙂 I’m glad to be participating again after an absence while we migrated and redesigned our website. A process I’m very thankful to have behind me. Today I posted two garlic recipes (#9 and #10) that are sure to be crowd-pleasers for the family and will boost immunity for the coming cold/flu season, too! Blessings to you!

A little over a year ago I did the same thing as Kristina, from Raising Littles – I exited the facebook world! I did it for the exact reasons she stated and I do have to say that it really IS that freeing! Of course, there are times when I “miss out” on a few good coupons, or great deals – like your free ebook to likers – but my life is much better and more focused without it, so I won’t go back. 🙂
