Remember, I said I was going unplugged? More than likely you couldn’t even tell because I had posts scheduled, but for about a week I had no internet access…on purpose.
The only reason I have access now is because I am at the Savvy Blogging Summit in Breckenridge, CO (a million thank yous to my wonderful sponsors: Valley of Life and Sweet Little Blessings!). The fire you see above is right in my room, courtesy of my husband!
Have I ever told you how amazing my husband is? 😉 Well, while I’ve been learning a million things about blogging I didn’t know, my wonderful husband has been keeping the children occupied with museums and hikes and cookies and cupcakes.
They’ve been taking in the scenery and having a good ole time!
We are all having a wonderful time here! If you’ve ever been curious about how to take your blog to a new level or just have questions you’d like to ask, I highly suggest looking into the Savvyblogging and SBSummit hashtags on Twitter. They are full of good information!
One quick story…
All the way out here, I kept looking longingly at all the beautiful creeks and telling my husband I wanted to dangle my feet in one. I am already tired of the summer heat. Colorado creeks look so inviting and cool!
Finally, I got the chance to sit on the bank and put my hot, swollen feet in the water; however…
It was soooooo incredibly cold, I could only manage a few seconds before me feet went completely numb! But, we all took a turn dipping our feet and enjoying the fact that in the middle of July a mountain creek could actually be so cold we couldn’t stand it!
I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend…even if it isn’t filled with blogging conferences, mountain creeks, and roaring fires!
