In honor of my toddler turning 3 and graduating to preschooler-hood, I give you 7 posts for the preschool mom:
1. The Toddler Box – because it still works!
2. Do Toddlers & Well-Ordered Days Mix? – because you still wonder even after they turn 3!
3. Striving to Bless with Yes! – because some days all you do is say “no.”
4. A Little’s Corner – because sometimes all you need is something to keep them busy.
5. The Snowy Day Printables – because there is beauty in simple things.
6. Feed My Sheep – because our mission field is wrapped up in tiny packages.
7. Philosophy of Parenting: Pondering Christ – because the greatest of these is love.

Such a timely post! As I read through a couple of these posts, I’m reminded (yet again! :-)) that teaching and training my preschoolers takes planning! I love the idea of a preschool box or corner, but it’s not going to happen unless I make it happen. 🙂

These are great ideas and philosophies to live by. I especially love the toddler box because with this, you are instilling early a love for learning and that it is never too early. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE to see children grow in knowledge and the love of the Lord!
Oh, and these posts made me realize that I need to be more organized!!! 🙂

Amy, I love you!! I was just sitting here trying to think of things for the 2 or 3 preschoolers to do at my girls snowflake tea party because some of the crafts we have planned will be too difficult for them. The Snowy Day Printables are PERFECT!!! Thanks for saving me a lot time and work trying to come up with stuff on my own 🙂

Makes me wish I had some preschoolers to share all these great ideas with. Stumbling now…great post Amy.

Wait a Minute, my 3 year old isn’t a toddler anymore?! She’s considered a preschooler?!! I don’t think I can handle this.

I know! I got to searching around the internet trying to figure out if he was a toddler or a preschooler and the consensus seemed to be 3 & 4 were preschoolers!

Thanks for posting this! 🙂

Thanks for this. I tend to let my toddlers and preschoolers run free while I get distracted…which isn’t really my ideal. Thanks for the ideas and encouragement! 🙂

Meant to say thank you yesterday for this! 🙂 I shared it on my facebook page, too. I’m slowly trying to build up a stash of busy boxes for 2s, 3s, and 4s, so these posts really help with ideas!

I’m excited to try a toddler box! Also good to know that it’s normal not to be able to do a long school routine with a toddler and baby. This year has been SO hard. Luckily my oldest is four and our official kindergarten year doesn’t start until this coming fall.

Have you guys ever heard of or tried ‘blanket training’? I just read the Duggar Family’s books and she really extolled it’s virtues. Our oldest child is 2 yo, so I am not there yet, but gems like these posts are what I am saving for the future. Thank you!

Jamie,
Yes, we have blanket trained some of our children…and should really get back to this! lol

This post was a lifesaver! I showed it to my amazing husband and he was taken with the “little’s corner”. At 11pm he was rearranging our school room and building an amazing little’s corner while I gathered a toddler box. Boy, did it make a HUGE difference! We have schooled all this week with our 3 year old and 1 year old right next to us and it has been BEAUTIFUL! Thank you so much!!!

Serenity – that is wonderful to know! Tina is a dear friend of mine and I am always inspired by what she does. Glad to see someone else is too! 🙂
