Right now the girls’ room is undone. It is partially painted with partial border around the top and I am trying not to be antsy for it to be finished and back in order.
You see, I’m not good with “undone” things. I like things finished, accomplished, over with things. Probably so I can move on to the next task. Kind of like a checklist of to-do’s.
I’m one of those people who loves the feeling of lining through my to-do list piece by piece. It just feels good to see a page full of complete items.
But right now I am sitting on top of a huge undone list that I can do nothing about. And frankly, it is stressing me out! Does that make me a control freak? Possibly.
This blog is undone as well. The move to WordPress has been a little strenuous due to the sheer amount of posts and comments that had to be moved. For now, some things are undone and I have to be okay with that. I am could be a raving lunatic about it all, but what good would that do?
Oh, yeah…by the way…I’m moving to WordPress! lol
{There’s a myriad of reasons why I’m moving that I’ll explain in another post, but suffice it to say, once the move is complete, things will be much better here than on Blogger…but as of right now, things are undone.}
Anytime I’ve had undone situations in my life I’ve found my stomach in knots and my mind terribly preoccupied. I don’t feel quite like that right now, but I must admit, I am anxious. Anxious to cross certain things off my list. Anxious to put down one plate and pick up another. Anxious to move forward rather than stand still.
So, could all of you just hold my hand while I wait for the undone to be done?
**Ahhhh, thanks!**

I’ll hold your hand! I have a list of undones here too and it’s making me nuts! I get so annoyed with anyone that I feel is keeping me from finishing something… anything.. on the list!
Maybe I should make a list of ‘already dones” and just check them off over and over again 🙂

LOL! Great idea!

((HUGS)) here is my hand. I have several undone, or need to be done, or want to get dones. However, God must have something he wants me to get done first. ;o)
Amy says
Yeah, I figure there’s some lesson in this…even if it’s just patience!

Wow….What a change!
It is kind of a nice feature to have both sidebars…..my blogger one has one narrow straight column.
How fun….changing up your girls room!
I just did some home rearraging and it seems that all your belongings get “fluffed” up and in the end not everything finds a spot to land! eeekkkk!
Peace and Blessings,
Georgiann
PS I have a song on the top of my play list called….Every Season.
It makes me cry…it is a powerful song. The violins are awesome!
Not sure if you are in the mood for it? But I think you might like it.
Amy says
Can’t wait to hear it, Georgiann, but not sure I’m in the mood to cry….just yet. 😉

Amy~I know the feeling of being overwhelemed with all that is undone and just as you start to check off one thing on the list, you suddenly find yourself having to add more “undone” projects to the list, because things are becoming more and more undone! Ugh!
I just finished redesigning my blog and spring cleaning the house…and until it was all done I felt so frazzeled and flustered!
It made me, once again, SO thankful the Lords mercies that are new every morning and I’ll pray that you will *literally* feel that tomorrow morning and the next and the next!

I feel your pain. I can struggle with undone things too. And there are ALWAYS undone things in the world of homeschool mama land. In fact today, just getting through everyday life just about did me in :o)
A while back I took a break from to-do lists, schedules and time frames (gasp)….for me that was a good thing. I needed to practice letting things go.
Now I am working my way back to finding the balance. PLanning is such a blessing as long as it doesn’t interfere with real life….does that make sense?
Amy says
That TOTALLY makes sense!

Hope you are having a better week – was just thinking about you…stopping by to say hello (and maybe hold your hand:)!! )
Amy says
The last couple of weeks have been something else, but really in the grand scheme of life…they’ve been nothing. Hey, it’s all a vapor anyway…I would do well to remember that.

Amy – I don’t even know how I found you but I’m SO glad I have; what a beautiful blog, looking forward to following.
