One room schoolhouses are a thing of the past, but modern homeschools with more than one child must embrace the premise of €œone room, many grades€ as they find their homeschool groove.
One of the most often underutilized components of the one room schoolhouse model is the use of the Buddy System.

Our little one are very young (4, almost 3 and 15 months old) and we use the buddy system for practically everything, it’s a blessing for our family.
There is nothing sweeter then seeing our 4 yr old “reading” (at lest narrating) books to her younger sisters 🙂
