Halfway there! ACTUALLY, more than halfway, since I will be a scheduled c-section this time.
Baby is a banana! How fun is that?! Interestingly enough, this past week, I’ve been enjoying peanut butter and bananas, so it seems fitting baby is a banana this week.

I’m feeling baby move more and more and on the outside now too.
Probably the biggest news of the week is that people have begun to comment everywhere I go…
Are you about ready to pop?
You mean you haven’t had that baby yet?
Are you sure it isn’t twins?
That is one big baby!
And so it shall go for the next 19ish weeks. Gotta love it.

The heartburn has lessened substantially. I’m super busy now that I feel better. And, I am already ready for summer to end.
I did order two pair of cargo capris from thredUP this past week. That’s pretty much what I’m living in. They are lightweight and super comfortable. And I’m praying Fall comes quickly to my neck of the woods rather than waiting until November this year!

Hi Amy
Just wondering why they have you scheduled for c section? Not been a follower of your site too long and curious!
I have had 3 and feel the Lord putting it on my heart for another but I am closer to 40 than 30 – And after 3 already feel really scared to go through it again……. Sorry – rambling!
Love the updates

I’ve had 3 c-sections, the last one being a major emergency. None of them have been in a row, but this last one was enough to scare all of us – including my OB, who doesn’t scare easily.

You look wonderful: not about to pop, at all. And, as a mom who has twins, you do NOT look like twins! I’m sorry people say such insensitive things sometimes. I’m sure many mean well. I think often people just want to say something, to engage in conversation and just blurt out something. I realized how unreliable people’s comments are when I was pregnant. One person would say, “Your so big!” I’d see someone else who’d say, “Oh, you’re small.” Go figure… You look wonderful! Enjoy your baby banana!!!

Thank you!

I feel the opposite…..there’s no way you’re half way through already! Maybe we should make maternity t-shirts that could be worn when out in public that say something like, “Don’t even say anything” or “Comments not welcome” or “No, it’s not twins” or “Back off, I’m a normal size for growing another human being inside my body”, etc!!! Ha! 🙂

Yeah…I get all of those comments from about half way through pregnancy too. I’m 4 11 so there isn’t any place for the baby to grow but out! By baby 5 I’m starting to get used to it. Congrats! I think you look great!

Hi! Pregnant with baby #5 here. I was just wondering how do you deal with nausea and sickness while taking care of kids and house?
Amy says
I’m planning to do a post about this, but frankly, I bring everything down to the lowest common denominator and survive. Now that I have big kids, they help, but before that, I just did what little I could manage, made meals very simple, and prayed the Lord would keep us all sustained. ((HUGS))
