The purpose of the Welcome Home Wednesday’s link up is to offer a place of community meant to encourage one another in our homemaking. Today, I want to ask you what kinds of things encourage you the most?
Is it MARRIAGE advice, like this post from Yes, They’re All Ours on Accepting Our Husbands?
Maybe it is PARENTING encouragement like this post on Teaching Children Hospitality from Homemaker’s Heart.
Perhaps you like the RECIPE links left here like Beckie’s Mexican Cornbread from Kentucky Sketches.
Maybe it is PRACTICAL advice like the post on Canning Essentials from Seven Springs Homestead, or SPIRITUAL encouragement like what you’ll find in Mama Gab‘s post Putting Sunday First.
There’s no “right” answer to what encourages you. In fact, I’d venture to guess it changes every week, if not every day! That’s ok! We are here to learn from each other, encourage each other, and be there for each other as sisters in Christ!
So, leave me a comment below and let me know what is encouraging you in your homemaking today! Then, read through some of the great links left here each week!
And by the way, the number one clicked post last week was Christian Homekeeping‘s Video Nursery Tour – proving once again, my readers love all things babies! 🙂

I especially love the parenting encouragement. I love a new recipe like the next gal, but I’m far more in need of parenting & homeschool encouragement than anything else. Maybe it’s my precious and precocious 5, 3, & 1 year olds who do that to me. 🙂 Thanks so much for the feature. I love your link up and your blog.

I enjoy reading about parenting, children and babies! I also love to see how others organize things in their homes.

I always find encouragement from the ladies who link up here. The great thing to me is, my niche is different from others – and when I come here, I see stuff I may not have seen otherwise! I definitely need parenting encouragement lately …. some days are just so exhausting! Thanks so much for hosting – and thanks to all of the ladies who share their knowledge and encouragement here!

Hi Amy! Thank you for hosting! I hope your move is going as smoothly as possible. I’ve moved 20 times (so far), many times with littles and/or middles, so I can imagine the challenges you face! ((hugs))
As you predicted, the posts that inspire me as a homemaker change. I don’t currently have any young children, so practical advice about parenting young ones doesn’t apply to me (though I do often read and forward to friends!). I think I’m most drawn to posts of general spiritual encouragement – or spiritual encouragement as it applies to motherhood and/or marriage. Second to that, I am very often blessed by practical advice.
