I’ve told you before that I am a homeschool convention junkie. I LOVE the refreshment, encouragement, and energy that comes from conventions. However, they can be exhausting, expensive, and logistically difficult. For families who can’t get away during the week or for those who can’t manage a hotel room for 2-3 nights, going to a homeschool convention seems impossible…until now!
You’ve heard about Teach Them Diligently regional homeschool conventions, and I’ve mentioned the Teach Them Diligently Marketplaces here and there, but honestly, I didn’t fully understand what a “Marketplace” was until I started asking questions so I could I explain it better to all of you.
Marketplaces are simply mini-conventions. It is a one day homeschooling convention at a super-reasonable price. From morning until night on Saturday, there will be speaker sessions to go to in order to be refreshed and refocused as a homeschooling family. There is a curriculum shop where you can purchase curriculum at deeply discounted prices, and get help from other homeschool moms and dads to choose what will work for your family. These mini-conventions will be in 9 locations across the United States.
Your registration fee for the entire family is only $15, but moms, there is something extra special just for you the night before!
For an additional $30, you can attend a Friday night mini-retreat to go along with your mini-convention!
At every Marketplace location, Real Refreshment will be hosting a “Sampler” event for moms. There will be a chocolate reception and two speakers who want to give you the tools and vision to live an abundant homeschooling life in Christ!

I can almost guarantee you there will be a session that speaks right to your heart and helps to carry you through this next year. That one session is well worth the $15 you will spend.
