I came across your blog several years ago back when I was 19/20 as I was looking for homeschool resources for my younger brother (I was homeschooled until my final exam yrs at 18/19 – I did attend public school for a few yrs on and off when I was younger due to financial pressure on my parents which meant Mum had to work). I found your blog really interesting and decided to follow you.
I’m now 23 (24 the day after my due date) and a Mummy to be, first baby due on June 7th 2015. I’d just like to say thank you for all the Mummy resources you have shared on here. I’m finding them all very encouraging as I’m feeling pretty nervous about certain aspects of becoming a Mummy. I’m finding all the knowledge you’ve shared a real blessing.
Like your 14 yr old daughter I had dreams of becoming a professional photographer and due to a lack of financial resources and a university in our area that supplied the education required, instead I studied ‘Music and Media Design’ however I still enjoy photography today and would just like to encourage your daughter to carry on practicing and enjoying what she does. I’m personally looking forward to taking lots of pictures of our blessing from the Lord in June!!! Only God knows the plans He has for each and every one of us!!!!!!! She’s certainly taken some lovely pictures of Baby Aspen. Congrats by the way she looks beautiful!

Psalm 19:1 says, “The heavens declare the glory of God;
And the firmament shows His handiwork.” I believe babies do the same thing. Think about how much time you can spend staring in awe at their little fingers and toes and such. Darling pictures of God’s handiwork! 🙂

She is not a month old already – you just had her!!! lol.
She is gorgeous. The photos are beautiful. My eldest daughter who is 16 also loves photography and babies and toddlers. She is such a blessing to our family in so many ways. When you have a large family, sometimes the younger ones get a lot less photos taken of them because you’re so busy – not with a budding photographer in the house who loves to take lots of pics and edit them in a myriad of ways that look quite professional!! What a blessing!
