The Anticipation of a New Blog Design…

is killing me!!!

Remember my frustration over this blog? Well, because of the feedback I received and the fact that I just happen to know a blog designer, I decided to get a total makeover!

Because I have nothing better to do (yeah right!), I spent one evening earlier this week staring at page after page (48 to be exact) of design kits trying to find just the right one.

My desire is for this blog to not just be a place where I ramble on, but to also be a resource. I’ve learned so much from others and since “secrets don’t make friends”, I want to share that information with all of you!

I want to point you in the direction of the places where I’ve been edified and encouraged. I want to tell you about a new recipe or sewing project I’m working on and encourage you to try your hand at it. I want to help other grieving mothers find a sense of hope. I want to let you in on little tips and tricks to managing a large family (and even a smaller family…a lot of what I learned about large families I learned long before I ever was one!) I want to share homeschooling ideas and provide a place for you to share yours as well.

And honestly, I want this blog to be a catalog for me…a place I can come when I can’t remember how to make bath oil or I need to remind myself that this too shall pass when I’m in the throws of potty training.

So, as I searched those design kits, marking ones that caught my eye along the way, I was looking for something that was not only me, but something that reflected my vision for this blog. I wanted a comfortable place for my readers and a place that makes me smile.

So, I am anxiously awaiting the final product (no pressure, Abigail! lol).
