“No, it’s not twins.”
“Yes, I’m sure.”
“No, I’ve not dropped…I have no stomach muscles.”
“Yes, I WILL make it to my due date…trust me.”
“Yes, I always look like this.”
“No, I will not go into labor here in the checkout line…I’m not even close to my due date.”
“Yes, I know I’m all baby…I birth toddlers.”
“No, I don’t need a cart to carry my belly around.”
“Yes, I can stand up and walk without falling over.”
“No, I’m not overdue…I have until Christmas.” (this began in August?!)
My absolute favorite is when I get up from a table that’s been hiding my belly or when I turn around after having my back to someone…
This is the look I get:
Hee Hee…The Power of the Belly!

I find it very amusing being pregnant and when people look at me, but not at my face, but my belly 🙂 You do look beautiful, be proud of that belly, there’s a blessing in there!

I am going to share your site with a mom I know who is suffering from a loss at the moment. I hope it’s okay, for both.

I, too, am part of the double digit club. You look great! I hate those comments. I know people mean well. It’s just that you get so tired of hearing it over and over again!>>Hang in there! You’re looking good!

Awwww… you look wonderful! My last pregnancy with the twins I would tell someone my due date & they’d kinda look at me, then I’d say “it’s twins” & they actually looked relieved LOL!

LOL about the booth! Actually, the waitress usually takes one look at me and says, “I don’t suppose you want a booth?” Ummm…no.

Hi, new to the sight, but as the expectant mother of #8 I feel for you! I love the cart check ladies at Walmart shaking their heads and silently counting as we walk past. I try to smile like I don’t feel just a little offened, but truth tell, I have two special children and five more to add to the excitement all the while carrying the newest model, yet I can promise they are all helpful and more polite than most two children families! So, the next time you pass a large well behaved bunch, or even a small well behaved bunch, take a moment, bless the mom or dad, and compliment the kids. It’s far more encouraging than counting in silent amazement!
